With a skyline in large measure built by Jewish-owned construction
companies, and with small, pleasant vestpocket parks like this one named
for Albert Einstein, Panama City has very noticeable Jewish influences.
The thriving Jewish community was estimated in 1999 at 8,000 people. One
of the two Jewish schools in Panama City also is named for Einstein, father
of the theory of relativity. |
