July 4, 1940—Southwestern Jewish Review, page 2:
Miss Jane Goldberg returned from Los Angeles recently after spending three weeks
visiting family and friends. Miss Goldberg enjoyed an evening at Earl
Carroll's with Sadie Wyloge, Danny Schwartz and Bernard Lipinsky, who
motored up for Memorial Day and brought Miss Goldberg home.

January 16, 1947—"Alpha Phi Pi," Southwestern Jewish Press, page
4: The Alpha Phi Pi is well on to the road to regaining its former high social
status in the community. Last Tuessday night's stag at the San Diego Club
was certainly indicative of this, both socially and numerically. Among
those able to obtain a four-hour marital pass were Dr. Herman, Leo Beck, Bernard
Lipinsky, Morrie Douglas, Laurie Cantor, Max Zemen and Harold Lasher.
Harry Mallen couldn't get the green light. We missed you Harry!...

May 1949—"Roxies Open New Television Store," Southwestern
Jewish Press, page 8: Something new in the sale of Television has been
inaugurated by Roxies located in the Balboa Theatre Building. A complete room
has been remodeled for the exclusive use of Video. Bernard Lipinsky in
making the announcement said that all popular makes would be carried and
displayed.

Support...The Leichtag Family Foundation Campus Ceremonial Groundbreaking:
An intimate ceremony took place on November 4th when Shearn Platt & Bob
Haimsohn, Co-Chairs of the Seacrest Village Preserving the Promise From
Generation to Generation Capital Campaign proudly announced that the Capital
Campaign has reached a tremendous milestone and Seacrest is eager to build and
expand its Leichtag Family Foundation Campus! One hundred and forty families
have come together to raise more than 20 million dollars for the expansion of
the campus. Mayor of Encinitas Maggie Houlihan and Aaron Byzak representing
Senator Bill Morrow's office both spoke of the success of the Organization and
how proud the community is to have Seacrest as part of it. Jane and Victor
Ottenstein, Lee and Frank Goldberg, and Elaine and Jeffrey Lipinsky shared
personal sentiments, many mentioning their own parents and how pleased they were
to continue the legacy of their commitment to Seacrest Village. Toni and Lee
Leichtag spoke lovingly of their wish that the residents of the Homes live
comfortably in pleasant surroundings which offer only the finest service and
care. With the addition of the new facilities and services Seacrest Village at
Encinitas, The Leichtag Family Foundation Campus will no proudly feature: Joseph
& Dorothy Goldberg Healthcare Center; Lee & frank Goldberg Residence

Center —AJE offers a full service resource center for the community. The
Lipinsky Teacher Resource Center gives educators, parents and individuals in the
community access to over 6,000 books, videos and teaching materials. The center
also hosts six Open Houses during the year. These Open Houses attract educators
from the entire county and supply them with a variety of information to enhance
classroom studies and family holiday celebrations. In addition, the Center has
Educator Workshops during the year addressing specific teaching techniques and
skills.
