As retold by
Bruce Lowitt
Klein, a tourist in Israel, attends a recital and concert at the Moscovitz
Auditorium and is very impressed by the architecture and acoustics.
He asks the tour guide, "Is this magnificent auditorium named after Chaim
Moscovitz, the famous Talmudic scholar?"
"No. It's named after Morris Moscovitz, the writer."
"Never heard of him," Klein says. "What did he write?"
"A check."
