A new service for the San Diego County Jewish community has been announced by Jewishsightseeing.com. To mark the new year, the web site will provide an on-line calendar of San Diego County Jewish community events.

What makes this calendar different than others is that it will be updated on a daily basis.  Additionally, it will be linked to jewishsightseeing.com archives drawn from stories on Donald H. Harrison's web log as well as from  years of coverage by Harrison and other writers for the now defunct San Diego Jewish Press-Heritage.

The calendar. now under construction, will follow the listing style made popular in the "18-Days Column" of the old San Diego Jewish Press-Heritage, providing a quick summary of each event along with a  telephone number for more information.

The calendar, itself, will be archived for reference purposes. Readers may access the calendar for free from jewishsightseeing.com's home page at www.jewishsightseeing.com.
